Before the holidays I was working towards my ICT presentation.
I chose to do my presentation about gap years as this is something that interests me and I wanted to find out more about them.
I have used resources such as the internet and magazines about gap years to aid the research for my presentation and I think that I covered most of areas about gap years in my 10 minute presentation.
I decided that the most effective way to deliver my presentation was to write and read a script. I decided this so that I made sure I covered each topic area in detail but I made sure that I looked up a lot to show confidence and so that I wasn't just reading from the script.
I think that my presentation went well as I talked for the whole 10 minutes and showed a range of skills on my presentation such as putting in and playing an embedded video and using transitions and animations. I also tried to use a consistent house style and I made sure that I used similar animations throughout to make it appealing.
I could have improved it by having more audience participation to keep the audience engaged and at one point I did lose my place but I got back to where I was quickly so hopefully that will not affect my mark too much.
Below is an example of some of my slides from my presentation.
